Mark,
Good to hear you are having success with the fans. That temp does seem excessive for the FMS392 though. Another fan switch that is relatively straightforward is to go with 1 large fan from Flex-A-Lite. All the BDRs now have large single fans instead of the dual setups.

I can dig out a part number if anyone wants to swap "up".

Jay,

I really liked the idea of the single 16 inch fan. It looked like a great setup. But, the cheapest place that I could find it was 300 bucks. The 16incher was rated at 3000CFM I think. That aircraft propeller might add a tenth to the quarter mile pulling that hard!

Is the shroud included with that fan? If going from the early 2 fan set up to the single set up, the shroud would be required.

Yes it is a one piece assembly.
