Default Stabbing it this weekend

Finally going to stick the important stuff into the front of my roller. I'm guessing final connections next weekend and driving the next. Too optimistic?

...and Broken Arrow, right?

Thanks for the encouraging words. I'm working on it again today and hopefuly, will finish next weekend. It would have been nice to have it running and cruise with all the great cars that were here for the SW Street Rod Nationals. Oh well, surely by the Mid America Meet!

Make sure you use copper line for your oil pressure sending unit instead of KC's clear plastic.

Don't ask.

Plastic, fragile, to easy to crimp or bend and cause a weakness leading to a leak. Go copper and check to make sure it doesn't rub against something and wear through.

New motor never been run? Dyno tuned and broke in or what? Mine was new never started, dropped in and fired up. I changed the oil and filter after the first 40-45 minutes of run time.

UT: Good to know about the copper line.

Excaliber: New motor, dyno tuned from Keith Craft. Good advice about changing the oil after a liittle run time.

Turns out I was a little optimistic. I needed to order a couple more parts and modify a couple of items(Lakewood bellhousing/clutch bracket clearance issue). Should be done next weekend :hope:

HP- just turned over 1300 miles on Gunrack, will change the oil at 2000, changed it at 1000.

I'm using Ford 5-20 until next change, then... maybe... synthetic.

Roller cam, roller rockers.

"My" mechanics have done wonders in the last week with the KC 351W.

Emphasis on "My" mechanics.

We've PM'd.

We will meet one day, Brudda.

Hey HP,

Sounds like you're getting close. Hopefully, all us Okies can finally meet each other at Mid-America in June. I'm just filling out my pre-registration form. Got to find out from Clois what day everyone plays over at Hallet. Sounds like fun.
Looking forward to meeting you guys (and gals).

Well that took a little longer than I thought it would!

I just took the maiden voyage and has been so eloquently expressed many times in the past, THAT WAS AWESOME!! I'm going back out to play and see what various things I didn't get quite right during the build. I hope they're few and far between. Looks like I get to drive to Tulsa.

Did you mean to say Victoy Motorsports supplied clear plastic line?
