car cover
Can anyone recommend a outdoor car cover for a BDR that is water proof, and possibly have some sort of locking ability?

I suggest you do a search on this site as there have been a number of discussions.

airvolts,
I have a Covercraft for my BDR. It is the weather shield fabric and folds up in a bag about the size of a helmut bag. Check out their web www.covercraft.com I also have a dimension sheet for a BDR with 2 roll bars.

I picked up one of the small car covers from "Target" for around $30. Comes with cable & lock. YOu can go to just about any upholstery shop & have one custom made if you want something "REALLY" nice.

"California car cover". Inform them that you have a cobra, they have one that will fit. I love mine. Great quality.

Iwould advise you to be very careful in dealing with "ajusa.com." They sold me a cover made by "Coverking" that does not fit a Kirkham. After showing some degree of interest in the problem, they have ignored several attempts to contact them. YMMV but I've got to think that there must be some outfit that offers a good product and reasonably responsive customer service when necessary.

I followed 'BonitaCobra's link to Covercraft, and found their overstock sale page http://www.covercraft.com/cover_sale.htm
I ordered two of the smallest size, and paid the $8 for two day shipping (they offer ground shipping for free).
They arrived about a half hour ago, and for $18.99, it is a pretty nice cover for indoor storage. It's about a foot longer than it needs to be, but the width is about right for a 427 body, and the height is just about right. A little tall for my car with no roll bar. It hangs just barely lower than the body, no worry about it touching the floor. The height would fit fine on a car with a bar (or two).
The cover is thick enough to prevent any of the typical garage storage mishaps, yet packs to a pretty compact package (maybe 16"x12"x12")
The other one I ordered is going on a modified VW Corrado which spends most of it's life in the corner of my garage (need to wash the dust off before i try the fit on it).
Quite a pleasant surprise for the money.
