sorry but the earlier cars it won't fit without the SS steering column sleeve.
You will have to make one to mount on the M cyclinder or fender well.
My next project is to make front grills for this cars ,soon coming
If you need help email me, Have a good day ED

Ed,
By grills, I assume you mean some sort of rock guard for the front opening? I hope so, because my car almost swallowed a piece of an arm chair that had fallen out of a truck. I was lucky enough to miss it (not the Suburban behind me though) and drive on. But it got me thinking that just about anything would punch a serious hole in the radiator.
So, I hope you will work on this soon. If it is anything like your heat shield, I will be in line to buy one! Also, please consider the lower opening for oil coolers. It needs protection as well.

Rock/Bug Guard
SkipB,
A buddy of mine had that exact thing happen to his FFR, a truck in front of him threw a short piece of angle iron into his radiator....Cost him @$400 to repair. I had already fabricated a cover for mine, we then installed one on his. Check my gallery for pic's! Snakester

Ed,
The heat shield is doing it's job! I've been out in some blistering heat & no more leaky master cyls!
Now, When will you have the radiator shield ready? Any prototypes available?

Ed,
Any word on a model that would protect the Clutch master cylinder as well as the brake cylinder?
My problem (and others I have spoken with) need protection for the slave cylinder as we are cooking our fluid on every track event.
If you think it may be hard to install a shield of larger shape maybe a two piece thing could be arrainged. What do you think?

take a look how superformance does it. They have a sheild that protects both, check out your local cobra club, looks fairley easy to duplicate.

Hi Ed - any update on the bug/rock screen for the radiator? I'm already getting the heat shield on my ride with Jay, but if this is done it might be a nice addition as well.
