Rock Noise
Has anyone done anything inside the rear wheel wells of their car to prevent the noise that occurs when little rocks hit the fiberglass body? Or maybe I'm the only one that even notices it?
I've thought something like rhino-lining might do the trick?

I have a B&B with the same problem. Im going to line my inner wheel wells with duramat (not sure how to spell it) but they use it when you get a new audio system put in your car. They sell sheets of it on crutchfield.com.

There's a new heavy rubber skin material out there. The name escapes me at the moment. That product would do the trick. If I can locate it, or if anyone else know's what I'm thinking of we will see.

Selling dealer undercoated front and rear wheel wells. No noise and no stone chips from inside that may create star cracks in fender paint

That's what I did and do not notice any gravel noise.

I have not read much on the rhino linning, can this be done from a spray can, or does someone have to apply it (dealer of rhino liners, etc)?

It was Herculiner and you have to apply it with a roller. Tape off your wheel wells as it will run around to your paint if you are not careful. It has bits of rubber in the mixture. Use a dropcloth on the ground too.

Rock noise
I took my wheels off, went to PEP Boys and bought a can of Polyurethane roll on. You must sand and prime really good! I used a paint brush and it took no time at all..... I can still here the noise from the stones, but it's been three years no paint spider cracks in the paint.. I really works...

Another cheap fix. Rubberized undercoating available at all automotive paint stores. It comes in an aerosol can and is used all the time in bodyshops under the car and also to cover repair damage so it can't be seen. Spend a little bit extra to get the Rubberized version. Usually paintable too if you want. Great sound deadening.

I have rhino lining and it worked well, used some of the aerosol stuuf to touch up a couple places as Skip suggests and the aerosol stuff worked pretty good also.
