Congratulations to you also, Alfonso.
Jay and Brian do great work, as I know from them doing my Backdraft, but it was you who picked the colors, etc. to make it YOURS!
It looks fabulous!!!
Enjoy many safe miles in Spain and elsewhere wth it.
Cheers!
Dave

Once again beautifull car. Do me a huge favor, when you get it to Spain can you take some pictures with the top off and post them. I do not think there is a classier color combination out there!!! Congratulations!!!!!!!!

Alfonso,
Your enthusiasm keeps us going. It has been a long "season" for us. I look forward to your reaction when you finally have a chance to put the hammer down. I have never been to Spain, perhaps one day with continued hard work I will get the opportunity.
I also need to get your car out of here, too many people want the exact color combination and I must explain the wait period ... then I must refuse the offers to buy yours. You deserve it.
Monday alignment and 3M, Wednesday the big detail ... and hopefully soon after she leaves for her second big boat ride.
Learn from others mistakes, if you receive a big offer for the car then take it ... you can always get another one with a little wait and half the fun is designing it and watching it come together.

I'm very happy, All people write me sending congratulations on my choice of colour comb, hope to be useful for other buyers and that orders to Vintage increases notably. Of course if I have a good offer I will consider it, but the better offers are coming from people in Europe and will increase once the car be titled as classic one, and then licensed to run in all european countries, as is, without cats, with sidepipes, etc... But do you really think that I will sell the car, even with a good offer, before the winter comes? If anybody makes a good offer and wants to wait until winter...then I could sell it and buy another BDR just like BDR#380 (Jay, we will not need a lot of mails...only one saying: please send another one excatly equal). No doubts that Vintage will be the seller in that case. Thanks Jay and Brian
Cheers

Car is aligned. Almost home.
Your car had its first showing on Saturday. With an 8 or so car turnout at the shop we put it in the lineup. Everyone was in favor of the color combination.

Jay!
I think it is good that she goes accustoming to receiving looks .... I believe that here, in Spain, many people will stop to look at her! You have done a great work. I really think is a good colour combo...probably we might call Alfonso's combination!!! Ha, ha......But you know my headaches before to choose final combination, really the best choice was the black interior and this choice was only based in your recomendations.....at first sight, colour combs for interiors are really awsome, but probably the black color is the one less weary (I think it says weary) throughout the time. Thanks to all the CC guys that has congratulated me...It's very nice to receive your aprobation because you all have been of great help since my decisions have been based on yours commentaries and your iconographic support
Cheers to all

Topless... the way it was intended:
You will note there are only 3 colors on this car: Silver, Chrome, and Black ... ok I am ignoring the tail lights

Really impresive!!! I'am agree with Cashburn, The car only has three colors and they combine perfectly among them! In my opinion this kind of cars are done to last many years...so.... the more classic the more in force throughout the years! Black interior was a good choice, my first choice of clear color interior had been a mistake.....thanks again Cashburn!!
Cheers

I don't think I would like it on this combo. The black is a perfect contrast to everything else. The grey leather would not match the titanium or the stripe so it would just look "off". Can never go wrong with black.

One word: WOW!
I started driving my BDR in November '05. It was (IMO) the sexiest color combination at the time -- silver-grey metallic with silver stripes. Well, no more. That color combination is the most amazing thing I've seen. Holy cow, I'd love to see that one in person. The pics are dazzling!

Jay!
Estimated arrival date is August 11th, next week I will go to Hockenheim (Germany) to see how Fernando Alonso hits Michael Schumacher in his own home in Formula One German Gran Prix, one week more on holiday with my wife and my three children (Javier, Alfonso and Ana respectively 5, 3 and one years old) and quickly to Vigo harbour to enjoy my "girl-friend"..... will keep you informed....
Cheers

Alfonso,
Peter here wants your car. Can I sell him the same color? Do you have an exclusive on the Titanium / Ghost / Black?

Gee, wouldn't that make it a replica of Alfonso's original???
Would the value of the proposed replica be enhanced if Alfonso and/or Jay signed the dash???
Just kidding guys!
Cheers!
