Alfonso,

Cashburn(Jay) is the guy who can really answer your questions.

Find out from him FOR SURE that ALL necessary liquids (oil, gas, etc.) were in the Cobra when shipped. Make SURE that the car has everything it needs in it to run.

Once you are sure of the above, proceed to the steps below.

Pull the parking brake up and back to engage it.

Place the transmission in neutral.

Make SURE that you have a fire extinguisher READY and CLOSEBY. Open the hood and prop it open.

My best guess is that the battery may have been disconnected for shipment. It's in the trunk, check it out first.

Next make sure that the battery disconnect switch is on (horizontal, not vertical). It's the red key in between the seats on the wall between the cockpit and the trunk.

Flip the toggle switch up for the fuel pump. It's on the dash on the far right.

Turn ignition key clockwise a bit (about 1/8 of a turn) and release it. You will hear the fuel pump running.

Push the gas pedal to the floor once briefly and release it.

Push the gas pedal SLIGHTLY down and hold it there.

Push the start button and release it as soon as you hear the motor (not just the starter) running on its own. Do not hold it in for more tha a few seconds, if the motor doesn't start.

Hopefully, it will fire right up and the grin on your face will be from ear to ear.

Let your foot off the gas pedal once the car seems to be idling smoothly.

By the way that Pereiro guy in the Tour de France did REALLY well. He did Spain proud!!!

Remember to check with Cashburn (Jay) on all of this.

Cheers!
Dave

Hop in, brake on, clutch in, red flag key in back firewall inserted and turned until it locks in, ignition key on left on, furthest right rocker switch on (so you hear the fuel pump turn on), starter button with a little pump of the gas pedal, and you should be running.

If you get no power check to see if they did unhook a battery cable.

All fluids are in there, get a full tank of gas in there since we had to ship it low.

Do not forget your diaper LOL. Seriously if you do not turn on the fuel pump you will run out of gas in about 20 yards, that is what happened the first time I started mine, no big deal just turn it on and start the car back up. Do not mistake the manual switch for the fan overide as the fuel pump, in other words you turn on the fans, hear the noise and think it is the fuel pump.

If the yellow/orange light comes on when you flick the switch it means you turned on the fans manually. Turn them off and flip the other, you will hear the pump.

Watch that the fans do cycle on themselves (you will know since that same yellow/orange light will turn on by itself).

I suggest having another person around when you take the top off and put it on the first few times. Until you get the hang of it you could make a mess of the paint.
