Hawaiicobra, 2nd Saturday on the month (the 9th this time), about 5 or 6 pm, Kapolei Wendys Cruise in. Come on down and see some Island Cobras, maybe a Brock Coupe and assorted 'Hot Rods'. It's the best Cruise In on the Island of Oahu.

Stangely, I've never seen a Backdraft there, all though there are a couple around here...

Tom,
We installed the other LSD 3.64 a couple weeks ago. Have not heard from the owner yet, he must be enjoying it too much. It awakened the Ford Racing 392 very nicely, should be fantastic with that 342R.

Default new BDR

Just talked to Reg,my 402 from roush came in while I was on vacation and is already installed in grey w/silver.Will ship next week I'm hoping. For the money the roush is a good value.Best warranty in business and the engines look killer. Was up in WA and went by superformance dealer. A roller with 17" wheel upgrade was almost $49.000.00. Thats what my BDR cost with motor and trans. and BDR looks better with body mods they did.

hawaiicobra,

Just where does a guy from Hawaii go for vacation? Oklahoma?

I am flying to Oahu tomorrow and hope to see some Cobras on the road this week. It may be doubtful during the work week, but I will be on the lookout. Especially when I am on the golf course. Looking for things while golfing must really work. Look what it has done for OJ!

Are you on Oahu? When I drive there, it seems like 50mph is fast as the roads are kind of crowded in the Honolulu area. Where do you go to find roads that more open to a little speed?

I live on the Big Island of Hawaii. We have alot of open road and not many cars on them. We have a small track but the club here has land etc for a new racing complex with road coarse, drag, etc.Have fun on Oahu. I was up in Washington State on vacation to see friends on go on a house boat trip and rented harleys for Cascade range tour.

Ah shucks, I'm on Oahu and they recently CLOSED DOWN our only drag strip and road course here! Currently there is NO legal place to 'get it on'.

Now there are a few other places where you can, but I wouldn't know anything about that... Tempting to ship the Cobra to the Big Isle just for a little weekend cruising!

Cubby,
Did you ever figure the dilemna out? I must say that 427FE we did was a real eyeful under the hood. We have the NJ vs. Roush situation solved so no worries on that end. Though we've been doing the 342Rs for these situations. Could get Mark at Roush to spec a 402R for NJ if you are still after that.

Expecting a Sterling Grey with chrome 17" knockoffs in a couple weeks... still deciding on the engine. I think a stroker FE would have the most admirers at AC.
