Default indoor cover for BDR

Does anyone know of a nice indoor cover that fits the BDR cobra. The covercraft ones now require custom fit order with a dozen measurements and since I won't have my car for a couple more week and can't measure it, I'm out of luck with them. Thanks for any help.

Default Car Cover

Hello,

Go with the finishline cover. It is very heavy duty (although for indoor use only). Inside is made of flannel - very soft. You won't be disappointed.

I'll second Mike's recommendation. I was very pleased with the fit of the cover from finishline. The stitching on the panels follows the contours of the car nicely.

I ordered mine from covercraft and probably still have the custom measurement sheet with all the numbers filled in if anyone is interested.

I tried to order one from Griots Garage, who contracts with Calif Car Cover to have them made.

The problem is they WON'T make you one based on specifications from ANY other replica as they say the differences are to wide spread. They do have a point in that regard. Replicas are all over the map as to size and dimensions. I settled for one that is WAY to big. It covers the car, TOTALLY, even lays on the ground all around it, nice coverage, but kind of a pain in the butt because it's not a 'snug' fit.

They did send me a 'custom cover' sheet to fill in. I read the instructions and my eyes glazed over. A TON of measurements, then add up certain key measurments and that number must agree with some other number. If it doesn't, you have to start over!

Jeffko, your my hero for actually filling out THAT form! I'd measure twice, make the cut, and it would STILL be to short...

Covercraft, Car Cover World, California Car Cover...hard to keep 'em all straight. After reading through this thread, I couldn't even remember the name of the folks I bought my covers from, so I went back to the earlier thread, clipped my post and pasted it below. I'm still just as happy with the cover. It fits the car perfectly with the top on or off and best of all, packs into a little bag which I can stick in the trunk so I have it along when I go away for the weekend. I'm sure there are a bunch of good ones out there but, again, I'm happy with the cover and the service and it only took a week from the time I ordered it from CA to receive it in IL.

I just received a "Weathershield" cover from Car Cover World http://www.carcoverworld.com/ and am very happy with their product and service. We bought a cover from them last year for my wife's Miata, which was a stock item, but they wanted exact measurements for my SPF. Seemed like a lot of trouble to me, especially when they already have measurements for a Factory 5, but what the heck do I know? Also, I wanted to be sure I had a good cover for the London show and was a bit impatient, figuring maybe I had procrastinated too long. Well, it was worth the trouble and the short wait, as it fits the car perfectly. I wanted it to fit the car with the top up and the top was not shown on their dimension sheet, so I gave Jacki the last few measurements on Monday, June 5th and my cover arrived today, a week later. Charlie and Mark were very helpful over the phone also. So, for anyone who is looking for a superior quality, all weather cover which will pack into a minimum of space, I recommend checking out CCW"s website.

Default Indoor Cover for BDR

Hello,

Covercraft has indoor covers on sale that will fit the BDR for only $18.99.
http://www.covercraft.com/cover_sale.htm
Size 14' to 15'. It is light and soft, just keep it away from the sidepipes if they are HOT.
