BDR steering wheel?
hey kids,
Looking to replace my steering wheel with a leather one with no sharp edges! My hands kill me because I drive with hands on the 3 and 9 and the metal bits into my hands. It freakin sucks!!! Where do I get a steering wheel that fits the shaft? And no I don't want to wear gloves all the time so thats out.
Sid

Sid,
You can redrill and tap the mounting hub for most aftermarket wheels with the 6 bolt style. I like the leather wheels too.

Or buy a deburring tool ( www.mcmaster.com -part# 4289A33). It is easy to do yourself for $8. -no new wheel required unless you just don't like the wheel...

Don't like the wheel. Will any Mota Lita steering wheel work?

Sid,
I don't know if the SPF leather wheel will fit or not? It's a nice piece. I know Gary D. has one in his garage. Give him a call for a test fit maybe?
