6t8stang joins the BDR / PE Club
Eric,
It looks amazing in the sunlight. We ran it around today in the 73 Degree temps and grilled some burgers and hot dogs for some future members of the family. One week and she's all yours:
BTW this 351W dynoed out at 450HP / 430TQ. Mixed with a 3.91 rear it is a rocketship!

Awesome Jay - thanks again - I can't wait to see & drive her. How am I supposed to concentrate on work all week knowing we're this close?!?
As Gary & Dave have already stated in the other thread, as well as many others in numerous other threads, you and Brian are top notch. One of these days I'll get to meet you guys in person...hopefully you'll be able to make the delivery trip, but if not, I'll definitely make a day trip up to see you, see you in Hershey/Carlisle, etc!

Tim,
Just wondering how he is having trouble fitting? Do you have the wide seats in the car?

I understand. The wider seat would make significant difference for him, also if you take it off the slider and hard mount it you gain further clearance.
Though perhaps his enter/exit is the problem.

Thanks again to Jay & Brian & Vintage Motorsports - they delivered BDR#436 today! Again, I can't say enough good things about these guys!
It's going to take a few weeks before the state titling/inspections are complete, but I took her out for a quick 5 mile spin today. I wanted to go more, even with the cooler weather, but I didn't want to press my luck.
I also made my first repair & modification today. The turn signal light on the dash stopped working (outside lights still worked) - it worked when I first started out on my ride. I wiggled the wires over to the fuse box - still not working. A small tap on the relays in the fuse box and it started blinking - easy fixes are the best!
I also noticed some strange activity with the speedo - when I put the turn signals on, the speedo jumped up to about 60mph (sitting still in the driveway with the engine running). Not sure if this was related to the above problem, but I'll check it out more if it happens on my next ride. Maybe just a bad ground or something...
I also swapped out the start button for a replacement I bought - quick and easy mod.

The old saying... it looks fast standing still
We are finally on 95 on the CT side. Getting home.
It was great to finally meet you Eric. Glad we could work with you to finally fulfill the dream. I know its been a "couple" years. But the rewards are great. We always seem to luck out and get fantastic customers... give and get I guess.
Eric is a very laid back guy, I felt like firing off some burnouts in his driveway to get him excited!!! But I think he will realize that moment once the car is legal as they say. That tends to be the true moment of realization.
Keep us updated on any little items by phone or email. I like to keep on top of all "our" cars. Looking forward to Hershey.

Yeah...I'm definitely laid back...trust me...I was (and still am) excited! If you saw me grinning and giggling like a little schoolgirl when I took her out for a spin, you'd be laughing as well.
Posting on your ride home? Not giving Brian a break from driving? I swear...you guys never stop! True asset to our "hobby"...

Saw the car in person a while back. Have never seen a car so shinny and clean. The color is awesome. Brain and Jay are the best. There old shop was 5 minute's from my house, so i would always stop by to see what was new. Now still only 15 minute's away. It's like having my own personel mechanic.

Joe,
I did not find any belts that were a better value than what Finish Line is offering now. At $66 a set they are a great value. See: http://www.finishlineaccessories.com...roducts_id=227

Eric,
Best of luck with the car. If you are over by the Jersey Shore let me know and we'll meet up for a ride. I'm always looking for someone to go driving with.

Very nice Eric and congrats. There is not much of a better value for having fun than a cobra. The icing on the cake is the great people that you meet along the way. Welcome.

Great looking car!!! What colors and color codes are those if you don't mind me asking? When I pull the trigger for one i want either your color (in solid) or a solid black cobra.
Cheers
