Angry Backdraft color identification info

I have a black backdraft with white stripes on it, I sadly got a stone chip in the scoop the first day I really drove it and have been waiting for months from Reg. I need the actual PPG color numbers so I can get it re painted. The guys are ready to paint but there are 35 different whites and blacks out there( colors). This has been frustrating trying to get this.
Any Backdraft dealer or possible owner who can help would be appriciated.
Apparently they only use one black and white color so you think it would be easy!
Cheers all!!

Tony,
Email me direct and I should be able to supply the number tonight. I have it on my home computer I believe.

Regards,
Jay

I know this is just one example, but I hope, being a new BDR owner myself, that this kind of support from Reg and the factory isn't to be expected...

Hey Eric, most of the time its good.Jay from Vintage responds quickly, Reg can be a little dissapointing. Especially when you spend $40k.
It gets frustrating when you have to give your ph # and email 90 times, they dont keep any records it seems.I can appriciate that they are busy, but it needs to get better.I have asked for this info for months.
Love there cars, but we are paying for service, and this seems to need some work.
Again love there cars!!!!

I've also had similar problems except with the factory in S. Africa. They don't seem to answer their emails. I know they're busy building cars but over a two month period you would think they could find the time to answer just once.

Hey Jay, based on that link you gave us, Black is D740 and white is D753.
Was I correct in reading these #'s are in our vin # plate, not in mine!
I went to the paint guy who has all the PPG global colors, his D753 white looked different from my scoop but he thougt there was a chance that the clear coat may have tinted it a bit. This has been frustrating. Talked to Custom cars this morning again.
Appriciate your help Jay.
Seems to be some pissed people about Reg and there response time.
Thats not how you sell cars!!!
Cheers

Tony,
I'm pretty sure your car has Sikkens paint and not PPG. That is going to change things since the black and white that BDR uses is straight from the can.

Jay is right about your paint Tony. My car is #177 and it is definitely Sikkens. It was shortly after that when they switched to PPG. I got the paint codes, but admittedly they did not come right away.

The paint info and touchup bottles really should come with each car. A parts sheet would also be very good and would cut down a great deal of the calls.

Angry

Craig at Custom Cars gave me the code : KW D753 for the white paint, he recieved this via email from the factory in SA yesterday. He emailed them again today for the black but has not heard from them.
This should be a simple ask!
They need to document the colors for each car and post it on there web sites, the dealers would recieve alot less emails and calls.
My problem is, if the paint color is wrong from the factory or custom cars who is paying for it? This has taken up way too much time already.
I just want the bloody color of the car!!!!!!!
