BDR and Mr Lucky Go racing in SA
Guys here are some fresh pics taken yesterday here in SA where the David Piper Historic crowd raced at the Springbok series revival.
Mr Lucky was there with the BDR boys and two cars. The one is MR luckys personal race car, the other belonging to one of the backdraft boys racing team which served as a spare car.
Let me tell you guys ..........Tony's car was so quick he was lapping the others, so much so that they handicapped him a lap to even things up a bit....he was leading AGAIN when the jag banged into him, which left him sidelined when the classic jag obviously thinking he was out on a sunday drive banged into the left rear of the BDR. But not to worry there was a spare car.
Here are some pics together with some others of notable cars at the races.
It was also interesting to note that a home built FFR coupe ran away from an SPF Coupe.
CSX 2151 was there as well as a few ferraris, GT40's, lola's and Mc Larens.
Enjoy.

heheheh John, I wish, I would love nothing better than to be able to work with Cobra's alll day long.
Yeah Tony does sit low in the car but then he also isnt that tall in height, hehehehe he has a Cente of Gravity advantage over the taller drivers.
Man I have to tell you guys,,,,,,,,,he was running rings around the rest of the field...that Monster motor of his sure works well......I was a bit peeeved that they handicapped him with a full lap.......but no worries there, soon he was out in front again, I think the tight circuit lent itself to the cobras handling and nimbleness, If it wasnt for the silly Jag driver???????
It was an awesome day's event to see those old cars driven hard....ish.
Cheers
Ian
PS work commitments here have delayed me posting more pics.....will try agaiin this evening.
