your right it want stop bugs, and i cant make them for what a bug screen would cost, hope your are selling lot of cars you always a big help on the fourm.

How about possibly mounting window screening over the front of what you currently have?
The only thing that I can see that would be a possible problem is that might cut down on airflow to the radiator too much, but it still might be worth trying. It would be easy enough to remove the screening material if the engine temperature gets too warm.
If it works, you will have something to stop stones and bugs that won't be too obvious.
