Getting Pumped!
BDR #499 arrived at Vintage today and from the photos, looks awesome! Jay and company will soon begin their magic. I have just about a month left here in Iraq and am getting pretty pumped about this car. I tried not to think too much about it for the last five months, otherwise the time would have dragged by. Now that I am short (one month left), I can foucus (dream??) about it!
Keep an eye on the Vintage site...This car is a little different than the rest!
I also have to mention how patient and understanding Jay has been to work with. You don't sell a car to some guy in Iraq everyday!! Jay has worked with me to get past the challenges and keeps me informed of the progress with regular updates.
If any of you are looking for a Roadster and are "on the fence" in regards of brand, or dealer, I would recommend Jay and Vintage Motorsports in a heart beat!!

It Looks Awesome
Gun Doc,
First, thank you very much for serving our country and protecting our freedom!
I looked at BDR 499 on the Vintage Motorsports website--it looks great. I am sure you're going to love the car. What motor are you putting in her?
You are a "short timer" now--be safe and get home soon.
Best regards,
Kevin

GunDoc the car looks great. Wait till you see her outside. I took delivery just 2 weeks ago of #461. It will be going back for the first check up as 500 miles went "quickly".
Best of luck to you and thank and everyone in Iraq that are doing the job that needs to be done.

Thanks for all of the good wishes and comments.
Sentor: I think I'll wait until we get a little closer before I spill the beans on the engine. It will be nice...High on the WOW! factor.

Smoking Cobra,
Okay, NOW I am getting jealous! I never thought of other people checking out my car. Don't get me wrong, I am glad other folks can see it. I just wish I could see it!!!!!!
I guess I could always go out in my HMMWV and pretend: VROOOM, VROOM!!

Gun Doc, I know exactly how you feel, last year I was in Afghanistan and had to wait a few months before I got to drive my New cobra then,
Now I am home and have a newer One on order from Tony at the factory.
In Fact i have just come from the Factory and seen my car.......ITS FINISHED and now i have to wait till after the Durban motorshow........the car is being displayed there untill sunday...........hehehe but it worth the wait.,she looks awesome and stunning. I will see if I can get some pics up this week.......
Hang in there the wait is worth it...............
