Need help for titling in Spain!
Hi all! As many of you knows I'm having many troubles to title my BDR in Europe, here our DMV says that although car is a 1965 one in shape they dont consider it as a 1965 replica.. and that they dont believe that in USA the car could be consideer as antique (here in europe we only can title it as antique) Jay said to me that perhaps any of you could help me.... does any of you titled a BDR as antique in USA? If you have got it......could you contact with me: alfonsoalba@e-icm.net. I only need to demonstrate that its true that in USA its possible to consider it as antique.
Thanks a lot ....I only want to title my car before the summer.......I have been many months waiting to title my car and I want to ride it!!!!!
Cheers
Alfonso

Just want to let everyone know that Alfonso is not out to get anyone in trouble. You can block you VIN and name on the title, he just needs an example of someone with a '65 registration. The Florida guys and some other states have this going, so someone should be able to help a fellow BDR owner out.

Good Luck Alfonso
I'll see if Louisiana or Alabama would be any help.
When you're on the road - remember, keep it under 90

It could sound like a joke but here, DMV allows to title certain cars as collectible (if the cars are scarce or special ones) as second possibility to antique cars, and they said that my car is very frecuent here so it couldn't be consider as collectible...... Really I havent realized that in Spain almost half of titled cars are BDRs...... don't you think that is like a very big joke? And the biggest joke is that ,really, I have seen VW replicas with rear engine titled as cobras. In the last inspection the engineer said to me that my Ford Racing is not period correct because original cobras mounted a 3.2L Jaguar engine żżżż?????. Discovery Channel is really perjuditial for some people!
