Default What an experience with BDR!!!!!!!

Well as most of you know I Had my BDR built here at the factory in SA,(This is not my first Cobra recreation)
some feathers may be ruffled by what i type here today,, but what the hell....its the truth as far as I am concerned.

There are few words to describe the experience........awesome and painless and other words come to mind, but let me tell you that words dont do justice to the service levels shown by Tony, John Scott, and the rest of the guys, most of whose names I dont even know. I mnade a heap of new freinds in the process.

Every time I visited the factory they treated my like an old mate and went out of their way to make sure that I felt real welcome.

Well Yesterday I took delivery of my BDR..(No number as we dont have the USA numbering system which Jay and the guys use over there). this in itself was an awesome experience, and made all the more so by the team at the factory, Once again, I was treated like royalty and even had Tony entrust his life into my hands while we took the new car on a familiarisation run.

Guys I could carry on for pages here.
The bottom line is this.........I once made the mistake of doing business with the dubious owners of Performance cars.....that saga is well documented by now. What i want to say to anyone who is interested in buying their dream Cobra recreation. go the BDR way....don’t listen to the sales hype and horse-dung that some people sprout about how good their products are, Believe me, they have to go a long way to match the BDR, and trust me, I have seen and driven some of the other products on the market.....BDR wins hands down.

Here are some of the Pro's I found so far

There are NO rattles in my car. NOT ONE
Every panel shuts solidly.
The paintwork is stunning and gets comments for it everywhere I go.
The driver height thing is perfect...I am 6'4" and sit with near straight legs in my car, verrry comfortable indeed.
The ride quality is way better than I expected it to be after my last Cobra experience.
Guys in short………I CANT FIND FAULT WITH THE CAR!!!!!!!!

OKOK the diff ratio is a little short for my liking, but that hasn’t got anything to do with the quality of the car. ITS AWESOME…………

Once again a Huge thanks to Tony, John and the team at TR-Tec/Backdraft racing here in SA.

Like I say : when deciding on a new car…..choosing a BDR is a NO brainer

Great to hear. I'm about to take possesion of BDR#479 from Jay.

What diff are you running? I went with 3.73 40% lock LSD. My motor made just shy of 500hp on the dyno. Little worried that 1st gear will be too much.

I loved the black w/ rookie stripes on your car-great looking. And nice to know you fit. I'm 6'3-one of the many reasons I chose a backdraft.

Congrats on your new car!
