Hey, guys! Again......while getting ready to get some new shoes myself.......after bing on BFG's for 4K miles.........has anyone tried the MT Sportsman SR's? again, they have some nice characteristics.......the pricing is about 189 rars....and 179 fronts. It would seem someone out there would have given these a ride!! they have a good all 'round ride, and performance as well as good 15" look!
please let me know ...........I am close to buying one..........

In my opinion, 31" on ANY Cobra would be too tall. Look in my gallery. I'm currently running one of the largest 15" performance tires available (MT drag radial, 325-50s, in the rear) and they measure ON THE CAR at 27.5". The fronts are MT drag radial 255/60s and they measure just under 27" on the car. They fill-up the wheel well just right and I couldn't fathom running a taller or wider tire on my SPF for several reasons (both asthetically and performance wise).

For 15" super sticky DOT radials there are really only two choices: Avon or a drag radial (MT, Goodyear, etc.). Some here have tracked with the Yoko Avid STs, so they are a compromise for those that don't want to spend more $$ on the former choices. And at around $100/ea, they (Yokos) really are a bargain.

I use 235R60-15s on the front and 295R50-15s on the rear. What brand? Why, COOPER COBRA, of course. LOL The even have a cobra image embossed into the sidewall of the tire. I just thought they were cool.

Hi guys,

Does any one have an idea where I can get the Old Billboard good year template to paint on the tires. I was thinging of getting back to a more vintage look by reversing my BF's and painting the blackwall with the good year stencil.

Any suggestions
Gary
