BDR with FE at London?
Anyone with a big block BDR planning on attending the LCS? Preferably a big person who wouldn't mind me sitting in their car?

Steve,
I don't have a big block, but I'm 6'5" and you're welcome to try the car on for size. I'll be staying at the America's Best Value Inn.
Cheers!
Dave

Lovehamr,
What is the difference in sitting in a big block or a small block BDR? We will have plenty of Backdraft's there for you to sit, climb in or maybe even test drive.

I don't know if we will still have our FE car by then or if I am bringing a car or not. The Carlisle event next weekend we will have FE and 460BBF on site. That might be a better chance for you to see a wider Backdraft specific pallet.

Bill, I guess my question was poorly worded. By putting two questions into one I guess I changed the meaning. What I ment to say was: Will there be any BDs there with big/tall drivers that wouldn't mind me "trying on" there car? (thanks Dave) And are there any BD with FE owners planning to attend? That's just because I'd like to look at one in person before making plans.
Is that better? LOL

Lovehamr, just how tall are you, I know that at 6'4" I fit in my NEW BDR with room to spare...in fact I have my legs sitting near Flat and straight out to reach the pedals.....as for the newer seats with their slightly wider bolsters, they grip ones butt just right to not let you slide around on the leather.......
I think u will fit in the new BDR's NO PROBLEM..............

To answer your question; I'm only 6' 2" but at 260# my chubby girth does it in for most Cobras. I even tried an SPF with their "big guy" mods to no avail. I could've driven it but would've been very uncomfortable doing so. I'm also glad to hear about the seats for the same reasons. Right now I'm just stoked to be going to London to see all manner of Cobras, but the BDRs in particular.
Thanks, Steve

Steve,
As long as Jack gets our other FE to us in time we will be bringing 2 FE cars and I know for certain Reg will be bring atleast 1 FE and perhaps the 460 car if it does not sell sooner.
I will also plan to bring our "Big Boy" seat... makes a big difference on the fit for taller or bigger guys.

Doug Kinemond will be there with his new FE powered BDR. He is an OCC member and will be wearing one of the yellow staff shirts.
