Leaky speedo cable

After 3 years with my car I have eliminated almost all of the leaks. One that has me stumped is the speedo cable. This thing has dripped trans fluid since day one. I put some silicone were the ends are crimped to the sheathing and that did not fix it. I get fluid at the speedo and at the trans end as well. A drip forms at the low point in the cable as it comes out of the trans and curves up into the engine compartment.

Any thoughts?

I'm told the definitive fix is to replace the cable with a reverse rotation one. contact these guys and explain they will tell you what you need to do:

The other alternative is going with an electric speedo...........
