Question Need suggestions for updated rotors /pads

I'm ready to order new slotted brake rotors and new non-dusting pads...what year and model BMW E36 brake parts are suited for my BDR #98...My BDR is fitted with 17' wheels...can I update to M3 E36 rotors...I would welcome all suggestion on how to update my Cobra brakes...including good part sources. Thanks for the help!
With best regards,
Randy,
BDR #98

You might want ot call Reg and see what he has on the shelf for M3 brakes. You could also go with Bimmerworld, Dinan, ... for E36 brake upgrade kits from Brembo, Bear, Stoptech,... I thinkany E36 brake system will work, however the brake lines lengths required are different than an E36.

You can also try a junkyard. I have had good experience with Bavarian Auto Recycling in Rancho Cordova CA: http://www.bmrparts.com/

Default New rotors and pads

this is what I used. Slow shipping to me but nice product. Contact Vintage for their kit also. I didn't check into M3 change because I don't need it. Car stops great.

I Purchased new rotors and brake pads this week...after checking several sources, I ended up purchasing the rotors and brakes pads from www.tirerack.com. In the past,I have purchased several sets of tires from them with good results. Their website allows you to read customer reviews which rate the products they sell! I did not upgrade to M3 components, but instead just replaced the standard rotors and pads on my BDR #98. The Tire Rack recommended Akenbono ProACT Ceramic pads and Power Slot Rotors. I checked the reviews of these brake upgrades on their website...they were very favorable. The parts arrived in just 3 days...I'm going to install this weekend. I'll keep you posted...P.S. The Tire Racks prices are very competitive!
With best regards,
Randy
