Anyone here replace their side emblems?

I just purchased a replacement set of side emblems:



Unlike the emblems that come with the BDR, these emblems do not have the long threaded pins which also serve to hold the side vents in place; rather, they use very short pins which are smooth and require a "cut nut" to hold in place. Unfortunately, they are not long enough to hold the side vent in place as well. Just curious if anyone has used these emblems or something similar, or if they found a different solution altogether?

JUST BUY SOME COUNTERSUNK SCREWS AND NUTS THE SAME SIZE AS THE ONES ON THE BACK OF YOUR EMBLEMS.

CARFULLY COUNTERSINK THE BODY UNTIL THE HEADS FIT SNUGLY JUST BELOW THE SURFACE.

CUT AND FILE OFF THE PINS ON THE NEW EMBLEMS.

THEN STICK ON THE NEW EMBLEMS WITH THIN DOUBLE SIDED TAPE.

Make sure to use 3M tape, but be sure it's the red stuff... It's will hold almost anything... It's also east to find at Walmart or even Staples.
