Default Some tunes

I want to put in a radio in my BD. Are there any special parts I need or can I just go to a reputable installer & let them create?

Thanks!!

That sounds good, Rob. Just make sure you take him for a ride at speed so that he can see that you will need a bit more than the usual amount of power to drive the speakers loud enough to hear when you are crusing at speed.

Don't waste your time trying an install without an amp. I tried it and then went back and installed an amp (about 600 watts). Find the best speakers you can find that will handle as much power as possible and then get enough power to max out the speakers. When cruising along, it sounds great. Under hard acceleration the pipes drown out the stereo which is just perfect anyway!

Where should the amp go?.........the trunk I presume? What about the speakers? Are they going in the kick panels? Am I correct in thinking this should not be too difficult?

Very sweet ride! That is a monster of an amp! I like the speaker location. My car has the extinguisher mounted there & a battery cutoff switch as well. I imagine I can relocate those items though.

Thanks for the pics!

There is a custom stereo installer a couple of blocks away from my home. Think I will swing by there & see if this guy is knowledgeable & see what he can do for me.

I want to ask you Cowboy, do those exhaust heat shields work well?
