No headlights
I tried my headlights today & nothing. The brights work when I pull the lever on the back of the turn signal arm though. All the rest of the lights are fine. Is there a fuse or a relay for the headlights?
Thanks!

Check the passenger kick panel for fuses/relays. Might also need to look at the turn signal switch...

I found the hd lt fuse & it was good, however the fuse was loose in the box. I closed up the contacts for a tighter fit. Turned the lights on & nothing, but when I hit the bright switch & released it, the regular hd lts were working. Turned them off & on & came back. Cool!
Thanks!!

Rob,
You may want to check the headlight relay...My car was doing almost the same thing - Sometimes I would have hi-beams, other times low-beams. It was especially bad when riding over rough roads. It turned out the relay was bad. I could tap the relay with the headlights on and cause them to change from hi to low. Jay at Vintage sent me a new, more robust relay and I haven’t had any more problems.

Turn signals? You have turn signals?
I have a metal lever that spins 360 degrees and accomplishes nothing.
Not bitter, just real.

Tamanaco, yup, still sucking up garage space, still for sale.
Supposed to be 67 degrees here tomorrow, I don't see it, freezing drizzle yesterday.
Not exactly "ideal" BDR weather, to drive or try to sell.
I wish I had the eyesight to fix the turn signals, I understand it's just a matter of popping off the steering wheel and cranking down on a set screw.
Let the next obsessive, compulsive, self-destructive adrenaline junkie do it.
Hell, the price is right, but Gunrack might as well be a foreclosed condo in California as far as buyer interest is concerned.
UT is in a very odd Catch-22 situation: If I have back surgery, I can drive the car without agony, even enjoy it again. BUT I can't afford the surgery unless I sell the car.
Cannons to the left of me, cannons to the right of me... gettin' old ain't for sissies.
My best to you in Ohio, my friend, I dug the hole I am in, but I had enough sense to throw the shovel in the air about a year ago.
