Default Run & Gun 2008

ALL right guys. R&G is approaching quickly. Who is in this year?, and who is out? It would be really great to show our support for this event and to all the great guys at Backdraft by showing up. Even for the non track guys to come and show your support. Last year was great, this year WILL be even better.
I'm in for sure. Who else??
Cheers,
Richard

Guys, this year we are really trying to attract spectators with cruise nights, a car show, seminars on a lot of different topics and tons of hanging out with other cobra guys. I should also mention that "manufacturers row" is COMPLETELY sold out! We will even have a dyno on site to do some testing or to aact as a "automotive polygraph". This is going to be the best year ever. Check out the website www.runngun.net

Richard, you know I'll be there again with Popeye! But, he no longer has an eye patch...

Run-n-Gun is going to be great this year. As Dean pointed out, the manufacturers have already signed up and taken all the vendor spots! We have tons of fun events planned that are going to give everyone a chance to do a little of everything.

Also, for you new guys to the track, we will have a great program for Novices who want to learn and give it a try. This is a low pressure situation that gives you the chance to just give it a try!

Come on out, we hope to see you there... If you want to see some Run-N-Gun videos, just check my site:

Just to make a slight correction to what James posted about all the vendor spots being rented. We do have a few vendor spots left (20' x 20' @ $100 non participants and $50 for participants) but all of our Manufacturers slots have been rented. Also, don't forget that we have spaces available for the swap meet so far only three people have opted for the swap meet spaces at $25).

We have FREE seminars planned for the public and drivers as well. Ford and Chevrolet specific seminars, driver, builder, suspension and brake seminars during the event. Richard I am so glad you are going to be here this year. I think I may have a little something for you!!!

Also, guy's if you want to reserve your garage space you might want to check out what spots are remining at: http://www.runngun.net/Garages@gateway.xls then click on the blue "Garage Allocation..." . This is just a simple spreadsheet but it is fairly accurate so if you want a specific garage space give me a call and send me a check and I will reserve your spot and post it to our list.

Clois

Now Clois, that sounds a little ominious. I just have a few minor things to do to the car. Get the engine and tranny in where they belong, get her run in, and we should be good to go.
It's getting awfully close......

Default 3 months is plenty of time

Bailey You have 3 months, plenty of time. If you run out of time we will have 15-30 of the best builders there, Throw the parts in the trailer and come on up. You would not believe what has been done there. A dragon had a motor pulled 4 times for a clutch problem. This is the only way to get to it. Hershal blew up his starter last year, R&R the trans assembly removed the broken pieces and we push started the car for 2 days. The list goes on &on & on with repairs. Motor swaps, Trans swaps, Clutch swaps, Heads gasket for SOME PEOPLE (CLOIS) steering racks for Lew. It's one big happy bunch of people we can fix or repair anything there. Good speed shop 20 minute from the track. Summit and Jeg's are over night to the hotels. You can even find a spare motor there. We can always tow your car around the track with another cobra. The rumor is there will be some 700+HP motors there, %00 HP for there car, 200HP to pull yours. Rick Lake

Default You are scaring your mechanic Clois

Clois Harlan You are scaring your mechanic Clois. I don't want to catch, eat, be eaten by anything. A hand shake works for me. The whole crew is a great bunch of people and that's more important than anything else. Every one comes to play, have fun and go home with car and drive in 1 piece. Just tired. Rick L.

Clois/Dean - Wondered if you could put some info on the RNG site about the car show that the local Cobra Club (GCC) will be doing. I believe Chuck has already contacted you about it? Thanks.

Default Rng '08

I'm in. Hotel booked, garage space reserved, now all I have to do is finish a couple of new additions to the car. No problem, I'll be ready. I've been listening to James "Popeye" Yale come back for the last two years talking about it, sounds like a blast. My co-pilot, garage hand, best friend and most importantly "Wife" is coming along, she loves the cars also.

Default Great time to make it your first!

Great news, I think you both will have a great time. I don't think you could have picked a better year to attend for the first time. Lots of seminars, give-a-ways, better trophy's and awards, better timing equipment, and for your wife she may want to hang with some of the other wifes and venture into St. Louis.

Let Dean or I know if we can answer any questions for you.

Clois
