Default Any Backdraft owners in North Orange Co.?

I just bought an SPF myself but I was wondering if there is a Backdraft person out there who wants get together to talk Cobras?
I had a hard time on deciding between SPF and BDR, I like both but the SB-100 was the deciding factor (I was looking used).
Any other Cobra types who might be interested?
Thanks,
Rodney

Rodney,

You might want to hook up with the San Diego Cobra crowd. They are very active.

Cheers
Michael

Hey Rodney
I'm out of Ventura, maybe too far north for you, but here's a link to some club info round abouts LA.

Cobra Meets in Ventura area?

How you likin' the SPF so far? I'm looking at either ERA, SPF or maybe Backdraft...

I'm super happy with the SPF.
I've never driven an ERA but they seem top notch for a glass car.
Both SPF and BDR have their strengths and I would have been very happy with either.
If anyone in SoCal buys that black w/ gold striped BDR (318) for sale in Pasadena, hit me up.

Do you attend in LA or only Ventura?

Actually, just emailed thru the link given in the last post on that thread today. I havent gotten a response yet. Bumped into the club a few times at tailgater's in Ventura, but was on duty both times and couldnt really stay & chat (I'ma CHP Officer). I only recently (couple of months ago) started serious research, and plan to buy within the next year or so. The Wifey gave me the green light, so I'm golden, at least till she finds out how much I plan to spend.

I hear you on that. I told my wife I was going to spend around 30K but just about doubled that. The more I learned about the cars the more I wanted. The good thing is you got the green light and there is allot of great options out there new and used.
Best of luck.
Peter

Thanks,
I'm gonna try and meet with a few guys on the 6th in San Diego. Some ERA, Some SPF, Some Backdraft. I'll let you know how it goes & bring back plenty of picks. My Wife actually mentioned a 30-40K range, but I think my Ego requires at least a 50K investment.
