The answer is 2”. I replaced the temp piece with a piece cut from a Gates filler neck hose part number 24717, and some much better clamps from Amazon. Being a filler neck hose, I’m wondering if this hose is even made to be in constant contact with gasoline as it is in our application, at least when there 1/2 tank or so. It seems like a pretty weak link.
