Good Guys
Just a reminder, The Good Guys will will have their Autumn Get Together at the Pleasanton Fair Grounds this weekend. They will also have the
"Street Challenge Auto Cross" going on. Last time some guy showed up with an ORIGINAL 427 S/C, set up as a race car....HOLY MOLY, Rude, crude and socially unacceptable, but WOW!!! What a handfull!!! Anyway, lots of cool stuff to see. Come on out and say hi!

Great Show....
Last year at the little autocross track they had one of the Goodguy raffle cars driven as a display/demonstration. The guy driving it ran it off the track and into the concrete barriers.
Funny only because he did not get hurt but, the car did not fare as well.

Last minute, I decided to drive my Cobra up to the Good Guys show instead of taking my daily driver.
It was a little overcast and misty when I left Santa Cruz at 7:00 am. Got to Scotts Valley and it was a heavy drizzle. By the time I was on 280 in San Jose it was pretty much raining. The rain finally subsided as I dropped down into Pleasanton.
It ended up being a beautiful sunny day and it was clear sailing on the way home.
I had a chance to meet and chat with Hans (Hans-Olof Blom) who owns an ERA and is visiting from Sweden. I also saw Chris (CJ428CJ) and talked to him for a few minutes. Walking around the show, I probably saw at least 10 Cobras today.
It was a fun event and I saw some really cool cars.

Nah, it's not like I'm going to melt. The wipers on my SPF are pretty darn good and you really don't get that wet at freeway speed.
Turn the heater on a bit and press on...just like driving in the UK in the summer time.

It right near Doug's coffee mug holders and GPS/DVD player.
