Happy Thanksgiving BACC
Greetings and Happy Thanksgiving 2009 to all!
Things I am thankful for this year;
1. A Wife (10yr aniv on 9-9-09) who is a "Car-Girl" and thinks its A-OK to ride around in a Cobra (or chase me with her AMG)
2. That a T56 actually fit in my SPF with very few mods.
3. That i got my SB100 before they possibly break the whole thing.
4. That I have met so many cool "real" people in BACC/CCDC
5. AAA has a 100mi tow option -- havent used it on the cobra, but its there.
--hope all is well with you and yours, this Thanksgiving!
Steve

AAA has a Premier plan with 200 mile towing!
Are we even happier yet?

Jim -- Happy T Day -!
AAA is a great service - Sadly I go to try out my long distance tow with the 99' Benz the other night.
---Pleasonton to santa clara.
Anyone know a good Benz Bodyshop>?

I like B-line in SJ. They specialize in MB and BMW.

Cooks is the one used by Walnut Creek Mercedes. Just be specific about what you expect, regardless of whomever you go with (i.e. Mercedes parts, how you want it blended, etc.). I have a fairly rare Corvette with Howard at Corvette City in Newark. Howard has worked on everything from one of a kind Peterbuilts (for Peterbuilt) to 250 Lussos to 959 Porsches. He is fair on his prices and a one man show. I think you would be pleased.

I think it will be B Line - I have 2 other offline references , and I have seen their work on a friends BMW, now that question .
Is it totaled or not.

HI Steve,
Thank you for the T-Day best wishes and all the best to you and yours.
I had a great day with you at the shop Saturday and when I told my wife about us laying under the Shelby on the car cover discussing the under car exhaust she was really happy she did not come with me. Your SPF is great and I am seriously thinking about the Shelby....I would fit in it easily as it is.....just need the engine & transmission to substitute for the Vrooomm Vroooom sounds.
BTW Cooks Collision in Pleasanton or Walnut Creek are the best that I know to fix an MBZ....personal experience when a woman ran a red light and hit an old one of mine on the passenger side rear quarter.
