St James Infirmary burned down November 17 1997. Saw it on the news and that night my brother and I went by the location to see if there was anything left. (they had a nice visible gas pump there turned into a fish tank) but almost everything was gone. the only thing we saw left was the front porch facade that had two 7' airplane props hanging from the front rail. One now resides in my brothers house and one in my garage. Myy brothers is an actuall airplane prop and mine turned out to be an orchard prop. None the less...they are some cool keepsakes from one of the many departed watering holes of the past in the bay area. (the peanut farm, the hitchrack, couple of neat old places that used to be out near calero res.) anyone think of any others? Suprised Steve didn't notice it when he was here last week.
