A Lottery, A Lottery!!

Through the introduction by fellow BACC member Steve Parker, we have arranged with Matt Swafford to make available a custom photographic shoot on the morning of the End of Summer Run. Matt is an outstanding local professional photographer/photojournalist with more than 20 years of experience and a keen eye in the photographing of automobiles (www.swaffordimaging.com - click on Galleries/Auto Collectors Passions) who has graciously offered to shoot a 'Location Portrait' of one of our members and his car on the grass at the Poplar Creek Golf Course. This is a professional "Shoot" with special studio lighting and all the accessories that will make your car photographically "pop".

The exact details are still being worked out but I expect we will collect the names of all members in attendance at breakfast and place them in a hat. The winner will then head outside with Matt to set up the Shoot. At the conclusion of the Shoot, all members and their guests will be invited/requested to gather around the winner's car for a group portrait. Matt will make this group portrait available to us.

Matt is doing this to expose his services to us and would like to add you and your car to his ever growing list of satisfied customers. Please check out his website as he has experience in many areas of the photographic world. Don't forget, the Holidays are just around the corner.

The winner will receive an 11x14 print as well as five 5x7 prints - all at no cost.

As you know, breakfast starts around 8 AM; the raffle will be at 8:45 and the Photographic Shoot will start at 9. You must be in attendance to participate (duh!). Who knows, these photos might even end up in the 2011 BACC Calendar.

I want to thank Matt again for all his time and effort to set up and take these pictures. Please remember that the Holidays are coming up and Matt can produce some wonderful photos of your car (and you) for gifts. You can also be sure that if Matt takes a shot of your car, it will make it in the calendar. I also wish to thank Dennis Peck for not claiming the initial prize and allowing us to draw another name out of the hat.
