Great series!! My 90 year old father in law who is a lifelong Giants fan was dancing a jig tonight.

Finally !!!
I remember as a kid the excitement when the Giants won the Pennant in '62, and now to finally win the Series, that's cool

Okay, on the "Don't Stop Believing" video, the third grouping of people---the two guys wearing beards and ball caps---the guy on the left is my co-worker Sean who sits right over my cubicle wall. He said they got approached at the game and asked if they would participate in making the video.

My only regret is that now I'll have stop asking the Giants to fire Brian Sabean and Bruce Bochy.....at least until Spring training.

Congrats! I was so sad in the 89' game; the earthquake actually took my mind off the loss that year. I'm happy that they finally brought this home and in convincing fashion. Total 31 HR's to the Rangers 10... including two shutout games to boot.
They truely EARNED this trophy when you see how hard it was to win against the Braves and then Philly... the road was never easy for the Giants so I think it makes it that much sweeter.
How much you want to bet the advertisers will finally start putting Giants players into the videos now? (I was so sick and tired of the MLB advertising showing every team we beat, but none of the Giants players.)

The 1989 Series? How about the 2002 Series?
The Giants are up 3-2 in games and in Game #6, we have a late 5-0 lead or whatever it was and we end up losing Game 6 and Game 7 to the Angels and their Rally Monkey.
At least in the 1989 Series you can say the A's were a better team with Jose Canseco and Mark McGwire, although they were allegedly aided by steriods.
No, the 2002 Series was far worse for me.

You know, that was the year of the dot-com bust and yours truely was one of the victims of that fallout. Football, Hockey, Baseball, etc. were not on my radar as I was looking for a job or training. I actually got my job Oct 28th. I'm sure everyone else was watching but I was taking a urine test.... :/
