Default Now Here Are Some Pipes !

This is certainly not a Cobra, or even a Ford for that matter, but I saw this Rat Rod shop truck in Temecula and have to say it's pretty cool.

Looks like a promotional vehicle for a local chopper shop and I'll bet you can hear it coming half a mile away. My guess is they will just let it continue rust, should look even more 'rustic' in years to come

Enjoy!

Default Now that is a thing of beauty

Not sure if its just me or what, but when I see such a rat rod in the condition as shown I appreciate all the subtleties that went into its build get Goosebumps and can hear the rumble of the beast, friggin awesome. tin-man

I'm with you guys...I'm a closet rat rod fan. Does anything actually rust in California, tho? Joke might be on them..

That's heat wrap on the steal pipes. And the clamps.... you have hold the end down some way!

Here's one of my son's Rat Rod. He and his identical twin brother built it themselves, '29 Model A body, hand built chassis w/four link rear and it
it's on air bags.

Here is another photo of the tail lights ... I think PANAVIA is right, GM and tin-man nailed it, 59 Caddy ... Also think a beer keg would make a pretty cool gas tank

Yep sure looks like the 59 caddy fin tail lights. Dang, I thought that was a NOX cylinder. Rear tires are too anemic tho' to handle the thrust. Uh-Uh, its a Chebby, oh well everything can't always be perfect. Cool ride anyway

Now if it was made out of aluminum.......................

Here is another Rat Rod truck with some serious pipes! 1929 Dodge Pick Up with a slightly more recent 454.

Saw this at the second annual Saratoga car show … went with fellow BACC south bay members Dave and Lane. Very nice show, about 130 cars.

Check it out
