All,
As many now know our dear friend Fitzroy "Fitz" Killingsworth passed away Wednesday of this past week (July 20).

Hello All,

A heartfelt feeling of loss for "A Good Man" who was always there with a helping hand to all.

We will miss Fitz and hope to go through life being as good a person as he was every day.

Tony R.

In discussing plans for Sat. today at lunch with some folks, we will be having breakfast at Rockhouse before heading over to the Lafayette BART station (beginning of the Cobra procession, gathering time is around 10:30AM at the BART station). It takes about 35mins to get from Rockhouse to the BART station.

Hope everyone can make it and please use the email link provided at the beginning of this thread to RSVP to help in planning.

Thanks,
mike

Today was the 'Celebration of Life' for Fitz.

Family, Friends, the Oakland Fire Department's finest and the BACC community, absolutely filled the Lafayette Veterans Memorial to pay tribute and to honor an extraordinary man.

Lots of wonderful stories and fond remembrances from family, friends and colleagues, Larry and Tony both spoke on behalf of the BACC family.

Fitz will be greatly missed by those that had the privilege to know him.

Here are a few photos ...

- Tim

It is good to see such an show of support, I wish I could have been there to be a part of it. It shows that BACC is a good "people" based organization. --

With Best Regards,

Steve
