Default Event: BACC Snakes to the Bay Monterey Sept.14-16

"Snakes to the Bay" 2012
Sept. 14,15,16

This year BACC is changing things up in September.
Rather than "Slithering to the Sierras" we will take our "Serpents to the Sea"
"Snakes to the Bay"
Monterey ,promises to be a memorable weekend. Besides being a
world class destination with lots to see and do (see Monterey), our visit to the Monterey
Peninsula will coincide with the "Cherry's Jubilee Motorsport Festival".

What's Cherry's Jubilee you might ask? Think Hot August Nights (without the Hot) and move
that to the beautiful Monterey peninsula. The event will be held on the Wharf Waterfront in
Old Monterey, Old Town Salinas, Cannery Row and not to mention the poker run in Pacific
Grove, Carmel Valley, and Pebble Beach and laps at Laguna Seca.

DON'T WAIT SPACE IS LIMITED Registration is NOW open BUT WILL BE CLOSING Aug.15

Some of the Activities planned-
  • Show’n Shine (parking) – Downtown Monterey Alvarado Street, Monterey Wharf Waterfront and Cannery Row
  • "Parade Laps" at Laguna Seca
  • Poker Run, Monterey, Cannery Row, Pacific Grove, Carmel Valley & Pebble Beach
  • Cruise - Alvarado Street and Wharf Waterfront
  • Awards (Over 200 awarded last year!)
  • $20 worth of tokens to be used as cash at participating local businesses
  • Two entries to Sunday pancake breakfast
  • One Official Cherry’s dash plaque & Goodie Bag and special gift
  • Otis’ Thursday Show & Shine

and much more............(Cobra drives, get-togethers etc)

Herman,

I was starting to think you didn't like me anymore .

Seriously, This is going to be a great weekend glad you and Melinda will be able to make it.

We are nearly sold out so I will be checking to see if I can add any more rooms to the block.

see ya soon,
Mike

I am as always entered in cherry's as I live here in Monterey. I hope to see some of you down here for the event. I usually start the event on Thursday at the waterfront parking lot in front of wharf number 2 on the corner of figuroa and del Monte. It starts at 8:00 AM and goes to past dark. It is also a good time to pick up your registration packet as they open the registration table at about 3:00 PM. Get there early as it is a small parking lot and fills up quickly.

Then Friday at the main Wharf parking lot and downtown Monterey on Alvarado St. I like the wharf lot better as it is sunnyer and a lot more people. Plus to get on Alvarado you better be in line before 6:00 AM. The wharf lot opens about 7:00 Am. and is very large, so there is plenty of parking.

Then Laguna Seca on Saturday and Cannery Row Sat. night.

Looking forward to seeing some of you down here.

Mike

Then Back to Laguna Seca on Sunday.
