Default Chilly breakfast at Alice's this Sat. 1/12?

Anyone up for a brisk drive for breakfast at Alice's this Saturday? 8:30 am.

Even you guys with them furr-nn sport cars are welcome - at least you'll have a warm drive.

Tom

Tom,

I am in, will most likely take hwy 280 to hwy 84 and head up that way. Should be a rather 'brisk' drive

Low is about 28 tomorrow. Good luck.

The low in Maui tomorrow is 64.

Maybe Doug will wear his criminal ski mask.

No promises from me. If it's too cold, the Audi will meet you up there.

How was it? I've driven in this kind of weather a bunch of times. Once you lose the feeling in your fingertips, you don't even notice the cold. I'll catch up with you guys one of these days. My car is down right now and I've had a bunch of other stuff going on.

I didn't even wake up until 8:50AM.

I did manage to finally change the oil on my roadster (trying out the Mobile1 oil filter, which they say can be used with conventional oil.) By the time I test drove it around 2:00PM, the temps were 52-54 deg. so I just had my t-shirt on.

I could have gone this morning despite the cold, but I just couldn't get up out of bed.

PS:
After the oil change @ 17,215 miles, I did an average on the past 6 oil changes (omitting the initial change after break-in) and my average miles between changes is 2,737.73 miles.

Base on that, my next change will likely be at 20,000. I think I need to drive it more!!!

Doug,
It was definitely cold and your right, the fingers do get cold even with good gloves. I know you have driven up and over hwy 17 many times in some pretty chilly weather. Hope you get your car back on the road soon.

Herman,
Good work with the oil change, catch you and the other guys next time!
