I may blast up there around 7:30am in the English car. Went for a long ride in the Cobra this week and haven't driven the other in a while.

Sorry guys, I spent the morning with my wife in the ER in Los Gatos.
Nothing too bad, it turns out.
I go next time.

I pulled the passenger side head and all 4 cylinders were compromised from the gasket. I suspect a low water level creating steam blew the gasket out. Will pull the other head today.

Hopefully a couple of gaskets and you'll be back on the road soon.

Will you go with the same gasket or try a different type / manufacturer ?

I did a coolant pressure test before I took the head off. The radiator has some small leaks. So really the larger job is fixing those or getting a new radiator. The tubes are epoxied to the side headers. I've fixed 2 leaks before but don't know if these are the same.
I will use the same head gasket. The failure was my fault in not keeping the coolant toped up. The puke tank had coolant in it. I should have checked the radiator cap on the overflow tank.
