They posted the idea on the "FFCobra" (now FFCARS) web site and "Snakes to the Lake" was born. There were about a half dozen cars on that inaugural run and now 26 years later Snakes draws up to 50+ cars annually with cars from virtually all manufacturers represented. The Snakes weekend is Friday to Monday for those who can join us for the entire weekend, however. As usual your arrival and departure is open to whatever your schedule allows. Overview: Official Caravan will drive up to the lake on Friday, drive to Tahoe using our usual back roads (where possible) Social Hour Friday evening starting after check-in and whenever folks decide its time for a cocktail(usually around 4:30-5:00) We are planning our traditional Catered BBQ Friday Social Saturday drives to Tahoe City Oktoberfest (There will be an entry charge at the gate TBD) Sunday drive Reno National Car Museum and no host lunch Closing ceremonies Monday (actually just breakfast followed by good-byes and drive home) To register please go to :https://www.baccevents.com/event-det...ept-20-23-2024 |
