Next Bay Area Get Together?
Hi, When and where is your next Cobra get together? I'm in Redwood Shores, alongside San Carlos airport, do you ever have any gatherings on this side of the bay? Also, does your club have any tee shirts for sale? Anyone got a phone number I can call to find out information on your club? Thanks

Hello Bob,
The next BACC get together is this Saturday and every Saturday there after. If you go to the first page in the BACC local clubs you will find the time place etc. for the meetings.
Or follow this link to the same location:
http://www.clubcobra.com/forums/show...&threadid=2396
The group has very simple rules...No Rules, No dues, We never saw a Cobra we didn't like and everybody is welcome whether you have a Cobra, Thinking about getting a cobra or are just interested.
When you show up you will be newest President of the BACC but, everybody is a President.
Hope to see you soon,
Tony R.

Hi Bob,
Looking forward to seeing you.....
BTW the soccer event was almost three years ago... and it was a U-16 tournament in Yreka we had a great time. We have been meeting every Saturday since March of 2000, the numeber of cars ranges from none in the rain to 40 + Cobras last October, a great group of people.
My twins are in college now and there has been a lot more time for Cobra events with my wife and I.
There are events just about every weekend with the group runs to Fort Bragg..this weekend, breakfast and then a trip up to the Blackhawk museum to take a look at the Ford Legends Cars...this weekend, Wine country Poker run...next weekend, Good Guys car show and Historic races at Sears Point....Last Weekend etc. etc.
Regards,
Tony R.

Yipes, just realized the date (july 2000) on the email you sent me. My oldest daughter played last July in Europe (Gothia Cup), France, England and then finals in Sweden, (didn't make it all the way through, though), now she plays at college. Yes, FREE WEEKENDS, NO MORE SOCCER, I GOT MY LIFE BACK TOO.. I've got a Classic Roadsters replica, just finished building another engine about two months ago, a 428CJ. Before that I had a 410 in it. I been driving the car for almost 6 years now, it's held up very well. Never meant to make anyone think it's an original, I have American mags on it, and SW gauges. It's pretty much been a daily driver. The best part of having the car is when someone wants to take a picture of it and I tell them to get in the car and I'll take the picture of them behind the wheel. This is as close to driving one as many people will ever get, and they really appreciate it. Sharing these cars with others is what hot rodding and building cars is all about.

Bob,
Welcome to the club. This forum is a good place to check out what's happening along with our Sat. Breakfast at Athens were you can get additional information on what may be coming up in the area. You might want to take a look through some of the past threads here on BACC. "breakfast, Tour de Vin, NorCAl Cobra events calendar "(Mary Borden post on pg2) just to name a few threads.
Hope you make it to breakfast, get there early to get a spot

BACC,
WOW, thanks so much for letting my wife and I attend your Saturday Breakfast "Meeting". It was "fantastic and amazing" seeing all those beautiful cars, an actual viewing of an engine I've only seen in magazines and a group of great people who made an outsider/first timer feel welcome. A truly "SUPERDAY" for my wife and I. Now the only thing left to do is plan for a few more Saturday visits, get some of those great BACC Business Cards and spread the word to a few Cobra people on this side of the bay. Thanks again.
