Not Ranked
For those of you who didn't attent this event (and there were many who didn't), it was very low key and casual. The weather was perfect, the drive there and back was very scenic (PV, Menlo, Atherton, Woodside rank as some the finest neighborhoods in the Bay Area).
I estimate that there were about 80 cars, and everyone was so friendly. The food was great, too - all catered by Back Forty BBQ. And of course, the frozen margarita's - who could forget those...
Of the Cobras, there were a couple of 289's (even a slab-side), a about 6 or 7 427's including a Comp 427. Also there were about 7 or 8 Tigers.
Of the Cobra replicas, there was a Stallion, an AC (not sure why they considered it a replica, but it wasn't a Shelby either), and 3 Superformances - all 3 were TOTH SPFs, including the first SPF that Craig completed over 4 years ago.
Next year, I need to remember to bring folding chairs...
Have Fun - Drive Safely,
Randy R...
