Just received my FINAL/REAL California registration!! I started it in September (so I could pick up the car in Octorber), and through visits to the CHP, BAR and DMV--including holidays, vacations, car down, etc--the real deal finally showed up yesterday!!
I registered it under California SB100 and it came out as a 2002 year, and make SPCNS (specially constructed vehicle).
I got the license plate CSX4285 and will affix the stickers this week when I pick up the car (down with a burnt clutch )
So, the process works, but it can be time consuming--though the DMV kept issuing me temporarty operating certs so I could keep on the road !!

Way to go Mark!!!! SB 100 does work, all be it slow. Sorry to hear about the clutch.
I just got back to the wet sanding on the body of my snake after doing months of flood repairs. It should be ready for some paint in about a week. I got about 20% of the body done in the last two evenings.
