It's Done!!
Just got an e-mail from my builder (XK's of San Luis Obispo) that the car is FINISHED . Tomorrow they will drive it some more and shake out the last bugs, and Thursday morning I'm flying down to pick it up !!
The drive back up from San Luis to home is 240 miles +- and I'm going to have a big smile on my face for all 240 miles!!
Can't wait to finally bring it home...I'll finally know how you owners felt that day......

CONGRATULATIONS !!
Mark, that drive will feel more like ten miles instead of 240. Time really does fly when you're having fun.
Be careful and get use to the power before you put your foot in it.

Mark....Good Job
Hope you have a great trip up the coast. What a wonderfull day that will be. I wish I was with you.
I heard from my install up in Reno this afternoon. He said that my engine, for my SPF, was delivered this morning. He said, I should be able to take it home sometime late next week. One of the first things I'm going to do is to meet everyone at Athens.
Congrads again.....be waiting to hear about your trip.

Have a great time, Mark. That goes without saying--you will be loving it. I drove mine 240 miles the first day and had to keep pinching myself.

Congratulations Mark,
I enjoyed the pictures but can't wait to see what that anniversary blue looks like on the Kirkham Aluminum Body in person.
Have a great ride.......

Mark
I've been driving up and down the coast for the last two weeks--in Oxnard now after starting in Salinas, SLO to Salinas (the good way) last week. Advice--bring a jacket.
XK is a great place--you picked a good one to finish it off. Love their Jag work--they were making an early XKE into a Lightweight last year--all "arruminum" of course.
Me thinks we may need to establish an Arruminum Club on the West Coast in a few months.

Congratulations Mark !
Saw an Anniversary model in the back of Shelby's shop in Gardena during the "Magical Mystery Tour" of Shelby facilities (past and present) during SAAC 27. It was really awesome - a very striking color.
Enjoy!
Regards,
Jeff Burgy

Looks like you're gonna meet your goal of having your new Cobra in time for Snakes to the Lake!!!!
I'm really anxious to see your Cobra. I'm sure it's 100% better than the pictures (and the pictures are outstanding).
See ya soon,
