Any local cruises or get togethers in Menlo Park/Palo Alto area?????
Just recently purchased a FFR and am kind of interested to see if there is anyone out there that lives close to Menlo Park or Palo Alto area in California. Any get togethers or local cruises?

Once again.....
The Athens Restaurant is on Dublin Blvd in Dublin. It is on the North side of the street between Dougherty road and 680. From Menlo Park, take the Dunbarton Bridge and continue on 84 to 680 north. Take 580 east and the Dougherty Rd / Hopyard exit which is partway around the ramp. Go Left (north) to Dublin Blvd. and take another left. It is 2 lights up on the right. We arrive (the normal ones) at 0730 on Saturdays...
cheers

You may want to attend the Norcal Shelby club that will meet on Friday, Nov 8th at 8pm. They meet in the Sunnyvale Senior Center. Check out their web page. Norcal-saac.org

Stan,
So, if one was to read in to the meeting place for NorCal Shelby, one might come to the conclusion that Shelby's are for "old folks"
Just an observation.......................I couldn't help myself.

Hi Curtis,
I live in palo alto, and find lots of excuses to drive around the local area for an hour or two at a time on the weekends. Two cars would be cool. Also, it's usually a lonely drive to and from the dublin breakfast on saturday mornings. We could caravan up if you want.
hope to meet you soon,
joe kennedy

Hi Curtis,
For local things in your area, check with Ben at Dreamlot in Mountain View, I know he was trying to start up a Wednesday night "car get together" on El Camino, in the bank parking lot next to Clarks. I went to two of them, pretty nice. Larry and Loretta provided the music, and many car people from the mid penninsula showed up. He has put on a few car shows at his shop alongside 101 in Mountain View.
There are a few people from the pennisula who do the Dublin breakfast. Check with BACC for names of people in the club. They are a GREAT GROUP, make you feel right at home, and would probably like the company of another car on the way to breakfast.
Hope your enjoying your car
