Question Info on building a Cobra

Hi I have been bitten bad and desire to build my first cobra!

But I have some questions to the pros out there who have owned and built these snakes.
1.) How does the registration work here in california if I build one?
2.) I am planning on installing a Big Block Ford probably a 390FE what issues are going to come up with smog at DMV?
3.) When is the next car show where i might see some variaty of Cobras?
4.) I have been looking at different manufactures and have not picked one yet. I have seen a couple with very thin fiberglass I dont want to mention the brand as Im sure there are a few owners out there! I have been looking at Antique Classis but I have not made up my mind.
I would gladly appreciate any advice

The next Cobra show will be this Saturday (and every Saturday) at breakfast. ALL your questions are welcome and can be covered in depth. We have a wide varity of cars and experiance to share. I know it is a drive, but if you are serious, you won't be disappointed. Come on down.

Biten,
Rick is right. Every Saturday morning at Athens Burgers in Dublin we get together for breakfast and general swaping of tall tales. An average turnout is 15 cars. Some makes represented on an average Saturday are Shelby, ERA, FFR, Superformance, Unique, etc. etc. The only problem is that it gets going around 07:00. Kind of an early start if you drive down from Sacramento but the information you can gather and the ability to compare the various cars side by side can't be beat.

Bitten
On your way down or back to Dublin stop by Vacaville and see my LS427. If the weather cooperates we can take a spin. I have some photos of the car on this site. I have built the car from the ground up and built the engine from the block. I have done the SB 100 registration on my care so I am now an expert. Give me a call if you are interested
