Default 65 Registration

When I purchased my cobra replica, it had 1965 Ford 2 dr conv. registration. I registered it here in San francisco at the Triple A office. I had no problem doing so. Should I be concerned about this sb-100.
Thanks in advance.
Jeremy

Jeremy,
Was it from San Ramon?
What you should worry about is... how was it initially registered as a 1965? DMV and the AG of California is going to find out sooner or later. Look into SB1578/SB100 at the first of the year. Do a search on this site for more info.....the same thing keeps being asked over and over.

Default San Ramon

Curtis,
Thank you for your reply. The car was purchased in Orange County but I was moving to San Francisco at the time so I registered it here.
Sincerely,
Jeremy

Want my advice. Do nothing. Say nothing. If asked feign ignorance. Pay the renewal, keep your mouth shut. Tell no one. if you tell someone you'll just have to kill them.

Seriously, the worst that will happen is you will need to smog the thing which would be problematic if it has a late model engine. If that is as big a problem as it could be (say you have a 1980' s 5.0 which is suppose to be fuel injected, cats, et al.) you can simply put it through later under the 500 slots in SB-100 later.
