Hello, I am Investigator Jan Birdsall with the California Department of Motor Vehicles. Many of your club's members will recognize my name in connection with a criminal investigation I conducted against Les Roy Brown, perhaps also known to your members as Larry Marsh. Mr. Brown advertised Department of Motor Vehicle registration services for Cobra cars online as well as through trade and hobbyist magazines from 2001 through early 2003. Individuals who used Mr. Brown's services are currently undergoing cancellation of their California ownership and registration by the DMV due to false/counterfeit documentation submitted by Mr. Brown on behalf of the vehicle owners. These individuals have suffered losses up to $3000.00 due to Mr. Brown's false representations.
