IT WILL TAKE SOME GETTING USED TO. IT DOES LOOK TOUGH RATHER THAN BEAUTIFUL.

I think Ford did a much better job on the Mustang than they did on the Cobra. They took the '67 Mustang, which I think was one of the best looking, and perfected the design while updating the technology. With the new Cobra, it looks like they tried to make a NEW car and add on some of the original Cobra attributes.

If they are trying to apeal to the "younger" generation why take a design from the 50's (the original AC Ace) and try to update it with the likes of Audi, Mitsubishi and all the other NEW designs. Come up with a new & different car like Dodge did. I don't think Ford could come up with a truly new design/icon so they have to reinvent the cars from their glory days.

The "new" GT40 is nice, The "new" Mustang is stunning, but they missed the boat on the new Cobra.

It's a neat looking car, but nothing compaired to the classic cobra. And if I know Carrol Shelby, im sure the new cobra will cost a pertty penny.

IF Ford sells the Cobra I am sure that number of things will change with the car. First being the 600 HP engine. That will be tuned WAY down. They will also probably try to find a way to put a top on it. Think it looks like a TT now weight until they stick a roof on it.

The new Mustang is a good looking car. I just hope that the next restyling retro efforts don't go towards the Mustang II looks.

Michael,

I hate to tell you this, but I don't know if you are what they would call "younger" any more........
