BACC - FAQ and web site
Hi,
I have been active on ClubCobra for a few months now, and I'd like to start planning on getting together with some other Cobra owners. I looked at the web page for the BACC dinner in March, looks nice. I was more interested in the statement that "any given Sat morning, there are some 20 Cobras or so that get together." Question: where does this happen in the Bay Area? Also, does the BACC have a website? It would be nice to keep a log of all of the "members", their Cobra manufacturers, where they live, and perhaps contact information - at least e-mails. This would be a nice resource for local advice on shops, build tips, etc. Even weekend cobra rides and get-togethers. Maybe this already exists. If it does not, I'd be willing to help set it up.
/Chris

BACC
"No fees, no membership, no rules and EVERYONE is a President"
Athen's Burgers Saturday BACC Breakfast Meetings
Our "BACC" breakfast meetings, held every Sat. at Athens Burger 6999 Dublin Blvd in Dublin near the 580/680 interchange. There are "No fees, no membership, no rules and EVERYONE is a President" we typically have 15+ cars there and at least that many members. Everyone is welcome whether you have a Cobra or not.
As for a "web Page" this is it. If you check the threads here you will find information on upcoming events.
We do have a log and list but most communication happens here or at breakfast.
note most folks get there between 7-7:30 and we're gone by 9-9:30.
See ya at breakfast........

Mike,
Thanks for the info. I will try and make it out to Dublin when the sun comes back out. I look forward to seeing some of the other cars and meeting some folks too!
If we could preserve the motto of "No fees, no membership, no rules and EVERYONE is a President", would you be open to the construction of a website as a "virtual meetingplace" for Bay Area Cobra owners?
Outside of Club Cobra, this would give us a forum for posting event calendars, upcoming items, a gallery of car photos, and an area for advice, recommended shops (body, machining, chrome, etc., etc.) and tips, etc.
I would be willing to develop such a site. I would be shocked if other Bay Area Cobra owners wouldn't like to have such a homepage...
Thoughts?
/Chris
