Folsom Breakfast Trip -Sept 18th
Next weekend 18th of September should be the Far North Group gathering in Folsom. My intent is to make the Trip up to Folsom that morning. I am Planning on leaving Athens at 7:00 am. I will have a friend who is interested in building a car with me. Any takers?

If the Bay Area group comes up...
Hey Fitz,
I missed the last one, and was wondering if you guys from BACC were still attending from time to time. Good deal.
If you get a few more from the Bay area to show, I might post a note to the River City Shelby Club crew as well to see who might attend.
Also, after the last meeting I attended, about 5 of us took a regular drive up and around 49 and back. With this weather, what a shame to have everyone just drive home after breakfast. Do you think there might be some interest from your crew for something like this?. We could do Folsom/Auburn to Auburn 49 at Forrest Hill and back across 49 to Placerville and return on 50 for an easy one. Let us know if you or anyone is interested. Thanks. Duane

Not getting the response from the group as I had hoped for. Will talk to the Lunch group on Wednesday. The drive on 49 would be a bonus! Will update after Wednesday's Lunch. I will also be sending out a few personnal emails in case people are not visiting this site. The corner Stone is their normal meeting place in Folsom.

Would go but...
IF (and that is a big if) I am in town this weekend I will be at the air races, otherwise I would take the drive too.

Fitz,
Lots of Maybe', Coulda, Shoulda, Wouldas out there. Several emails back, but few confirms. Might be an eat and run, but a few of us will be there... even if its a short one. Thanks, Duane

Duane, sorry you missed the last breakfast. There have been some discussions regarding a drive after breakfast. Nothing formal yet. I think everyone wants to form some kind of structure as in a club chapter. Don DePonte is heading that up. I will be there Saturday with my newly finished Backdraft. I thought it was great when the folks from the Bay came up. Lots of great drives on the Hwy 80 side of 49.

Sorry, but I can't make it this time...Golf Tournament. Had a great time at the first one and the scenic drive home was a bonus.
