BACC Breakfast - West Bay "Chapter"
Fellow Cobraphiles:
The first Saturday of the month is upon us, and it is time for the fifth (yes the fifth!) BACC West Bay cruise-in at Bajis' cafe in Mountain View. Our first get-together back on 7/24 saw a huge turnout, and since then we have had equally entertaining get-togethers on 8/7, 9/11, and 10/2. Since we are into the cooler months here in the Bay Area, we no longer have to "compete" with all of the summer car shows, track days and automotive events - so I expect a good turnout this weekend!!
So.....bundle-up, wear a hat, bring a friend, and drive on over to Bajis' cafe this Saturday morning for some snakes and eggs. We'll see you there.
We'll see you at 8:00AM.

Hey Tom,
Definitely. Spread the word. I am happily hooking up my brand new engine this weekend, AN fittings, fuel lines, plumbing, electrical, pulleys, brackets, hoses, belts, etc, etc, etc. So we'll be short one cobra. However, I always make sure and arrive with at least a V8 and some RWD HP. I hope I don't catch too much heat because this week, it'll be a Chevy. Here's a teaser:

The breakfast last Sat. wasn't the largest turn out I've been to but the ride in the FFR after everyone left had me smiling all the way home!!!!
Thanks again to Greg Wynne for my very first ride in one of these beasts. I'm praying for no rain next month. Would like to meet you gents again. Good to see a lot of big cube cars in the lot.

Geez guys,
You wait until I move, then you start having breakfast 5 minutes from my old house, instead of my usual 40 minute drive to Athens at God's hour.
Thanks a lot!

Belive it or not, tomorrow marks the first Saturday of the month again, and therefore would mark another installment of our local West Bay breakfast. To be honest, I didn't really hit me until yesterday! I think I was thrown off by the long Thanksgiving weekend, which involved travel for me and my family, and probably many of yours. Also, I didn't get any e-mails this week from anxious Cobra owners wondering whether we were "on" or not.
I realize that I am opening myself up for some ridicule here, but I wonder if morning temperatures in the 30's (Cobra wind chill factor in the teens?) has something to do with it? Anyway, it is up to you folks whether you'd like to drive up/down to Bajis' tomorrow for breakfast. I, personally, will not make it this time around, but don't let that discourage you.
On an unrelated note, I am working with Accurate Impressions on an on-line store for bayareacobraclub.com for all kinds of BACC clothing and paraphenilia. Stay tuned.
You know the place!
8:00AM.

Hi Rich,
We've missed you! We are due to have our first kid any minute now, so I don't think I'll make it this weekend. I predict that the sunny weather will bring a great crowd. Have fun!
/Chris

When I was in high school, my girlfriend got a Golden Retriever puppy (female). Her family took my suggestion to name it Shelby, as I was a Shelby/Mustang/Cobra nut from day one.
This one will not be named Shelby, but I don't want to jinx anything. I'll post an announcement here with the details, once we're in the clear!

Upon seeing the Cobras, alot of the patrons end up arriving with a "woodie". We see this as an unavoidable by-product of our gathering. So it is not, necessarily frowned-upon. In summary, I say, feel free to show up with your woodie. Based on the ages of some of our members, it is no wonder they show up with a snake, as a woodie is no longer an option.

Best wishes with the new child, goaztecs. How's "Daytona" work, namewise? We had a small, but enthusiastic group of snake and woodie lovers earlier today. There were no complaints about a lack of wood. Rich

Just a reminder for West Bay Breakfast enthusiasts. The weather is supposed to be good this Saturday and I like to sleep in a little, so I'll see ya at Bajis by 8:00 AM. Scott might have some more Palo Alto Concours applications for those of you who haven't signed up yet. Rich

No woodies in attendance this time, but a cherry chopped Deuce Vickie with Ford running gear dropped by to compliment our small, but enthusiastic crew munching on some fine omelettes. More signups for the Palo Alto Concours. No rain. Beast running good and loud. Life is good! Rich

A reminder for those of you who might want to sleep in an extra hour or so: the weather will be purrfect for the monthly Cobra breakfast at Baji's this Saturday. 7:30-8:00 AM, or so; we're pretty casual on this side of the pond. Rich
